Vacation was great. I'm not going to bother transcribing my handwritten journal to LJ, or bore you with all the details. The Grand Tetons are beautiful, the Yellowstone thermal features are as weird as I thought, and riding a horse along the top of a ridge is pretty scary. We had a good time, and I can highly recommend Disney's newest venture, Adventures by Disney. If you want to know more about the trip, ask.

I'm interested, particularly in Yellowstone's thermal features. I had read recently that it was one of the most unstable places on earth, so I'm happy that you made it back safely! If you're going to transcribe your journals, I'd love to hear about that part.

Wow, nice vacation! I went to both parks with my family many years ago -- I think I was 15, or maybe 14. (That would've been 22-23 years ago, yike!) No horse riding for us though. Welcome back!
